Lenore Vivian Martin was a member of the North East Alabama Genealogical Society, the Jacksonville Heritage Association, and the AlaBenton Genealogical Society. A Cedar Spring community resident for 19 years, Ms. Martin had written the Cedar Springs News Column for the Jacksonville News for 17 years. She occasionally wrote feature articles for the Jacksonville News and the Anniston Star. Upon her death in May 1987, her research collection was donated to the Library of Anniston and Calhoun County.
